When you’re ready to unwind, there's really nothing more refreshing than a crisp & oaky Chardonnay and when chilled at just the right temperature, forget about having anything left in the bottle. Chardonnay or “Chard” (as the cool hip kids call it these days), is the most popular white wine in the country, but it didn't always start out that way. The green grapes used to make Chardonnay are a cross breading between Pinot Noir, Pinot Blanc and Gouais Blanc vines. Yes, you heard it right, pinot noir grapes. What?! Though the “motherland” of Chardonnay is France, when Chardonnay came to be and where it took place, no one really knows, but thank goodness it did! As it has grown in popularity over the years, Chardonnay grapes are not only the 5th most produced grape, but you can grow these versatile grapes practically anywhere from California to New Zealand - the possibilities are endless! 

The best part of Chardonnay though is that no two bottles are the same. I've tasted the buttery finishes of northern Michigan & Napa to the oaky barreled ones from Sonoma and Virginia, but every bottle is a new surprise. With that said, up until this past weekend, I always knew what I was in for when it came to Chardonnays....or at least I thought. Kemorene Wines 2015 Chardonnay was a game changer for me. Never had I had such a delicious, palatable give me more give me more white wine. As I swirled my glass, I could smell the aromas of mango and other citrus fruits and as you take the first sip, you can taste the silky butterscotch and vanilla notes that this Chardonnay embodies.

To say the least, this Chardonnay was on point with flavor, had low acidity and left me wanting more. Speaking of more, these labels are top of the line, they are sassy and embody who we are as women. Not only do you feel empowered while drinking this mouthwatering wine, but, I won’t lie, I felt like the woman on the bottle!
