Kemorene Wines premieres at The Walnut Club Awards Gala

The Walnut Club first annual Awards Gala, Honoring 42 Philadelphia Women

Philadelphia, PA – July 18, 2017

 

The Walnut Club hosted the first annual Walnut Club Awards Gala to honor 42 trailblazing Philadelphia women for their outstanding achievements in their organizations and communities. Honorees ranged from leaders in Healthcare, Education, Politics, Marketing, Finance, Technology and non-profits. 

 

The event was held on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 and held at the event’s co-host, Anthony’s Caterers at the IASTSE Ballroom in Philadelphia. The gala also served as The Walnut Club’s second birthday celebration with many of their members in attendance. The event kicked off with a lively VIP cocktail reception sponsored by SEI with a room full of Philadelphia’s thought and business leaders. The party was lively with a cellist, electronic violinist and Sounds by Shelly along with a beautifully catered dining experience. Guests enjoyed networking and a silent auction before the awards ceremony. Centerpieces were sponsored by Paint and Sips. 

 

Kemorene Wines was the event’s premiere sponsor, featuring their introductory 2014 Mt. Vedeer, Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon and 2015 Sonoma County Chardonnay.  Other sponsors included Insperity, Urban Stems, Stateside Vodka, Spike’s, Casa Papel, Blue Coat – American Gin, Cadillac, WeWork and Gran Caffe L’Aquila.  Media sponsors included Billy Penn, Philly Voice, MyNewPhilly.com and Women in Media.  Event partner sponsors included Susan Beard Photography, Dunleavy, Elysium Marketing Group, and the Alice Paul Institute.

 

The awards ceremony was presented by The Walnut Club President, Marla McDermott and Fay Steiger, Regional Vice President of Clutch.  Each honoree was awarded with a Walnut Club Award a champagne toast to their accomplishments.
